with here which have been passed down to her from her ancestors. On arriving in Toronto, Canada,
she opened one of the very first Italian restaurants called Monte Carlo Restaurant - Mamas Pizza
today is one of Toronto's finest restaurants.
The restaurant was one of the first to introduce pizza to Toronto, Lidia could be seen preparing Mamas Pizza
in the window. Customers couldn't get enough of her pizzas and soon started to called her "Mamma, Queen of
the Pizza" and that is how Mamas Pizza came about. Mammas is still a part of the family business and keeps
getting passed on from one generation to the next.
